Pauline Knaeble Williams grew up in North Minneapolis, the eleventh child of twelve, where her family owned a funeral home for three generations. She attended Macalester College, studying Sociology and History. FINDING HOLLIS, her first novel, was a finalist for the Midwest Book Award. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
